I want to remember..

So I've been needing to get some of these old photos done, it's easy to flick past them especially when you have some new photos to do that seem interesting and fresh. Some of these photos hold the most simple special memories though, things that in years to come will warm my heart and transport me back to that spot. So I'm trying to work through them and trying not to forget why I took that photo in the first place. I want to remember.

When these little girls played all day with lego....

I want to remember when my little one was this tiny and peaceful and sweet. Now she is more naughty than sweet, no longer tiny and there is not even a smidge of peacefulness. She is full of love though that one.

I made this layout for the Calendar girls challenge to make an eclectic mix of flowers on a layout, then I figured I would totally ruin it by trying to squeeze it into an album, so I popped it into this shadow box to go in Phia's room. Her walls are rose pink so it should look cute.

Hope to share more over the next few days

  1. Hi Hayley! These layouts are very nice especially the last one. Glad to see you are challenging yourself to do more than cards.
Also, what die did you use to create your circle scallop cards? So cute!

  2. I came to your blog today, Hayley, to remind myself which part of NZ you were in... oh my... My thoughts and prayers are with you that you and your family are safe from harm.
