Good Morning Scrapbookers!

It's Monday.... we have had such a full on weekend that I am pleased it is Monday. I sound like a crazy person.. who wishes for Monday. Apparently I do. That's how busy it was, I felt like I was running all weekend. I am hoping for a quiet day.

Project Life Share

Hi scrapbookers!

I know you saw the title right..... Project Life..... I know.

So... I know you are not supposed to start sentences with so but it's my blog. So.... I haven't really been sharing my PL for two reasons.... the first one is laziness... I sometimes have gaps and don't want to share those until they're done... I have been infrequent at working on it this year and so I don't have it up to date regularly..... oh there are so many reasons.

One of the main ones is that I have really simplified this year... I mean really simplified and I kinda think who would want to see it. But apparently you do, because I have had messages asking me. So yes I am still doing it and enjoying it but I am not as obsessed as I was last year. I'm kind of obsessed with 12x12 at the moment. So I promise to share sporadically with no apologies for the gaps. Project Life Wednesday..

Hi guys...

How is your Wednesday going? I'm not out at crafty Wednesday today because the little one is having a hard time with some teeth coming through. I'm running on not a lot of sleep so if you could all send me some energy vibes that would be awesome. So I'm not crafting today... BOO! but I thought I would try and make myself feel better by posting crafting on my blog... the next best thing to doing it is sharing it.

Project Life day....

Hi Everyone...

Another week of Project Life to share... 

The week I covered here was pretty busy around home as it was school holidays and the children had chicken pox so we only got out I think once.

I just got my photos printed for last week today and I am looking forward to getting these small people into bed so I can get to work!

Project Life again!

I thought I would share another PL spread again today.
For this one I thought I would try and use some square pics like they suggest over at life paper scrapbook.
I didn't do them all square, I thought that might look strange so just a couple on each page.

Project Life update....

I was so behind with my PL. We were away in Bali for five weeks and then out of our home (for repairs) for another two and after that long it takes a bit of commitment to catch up. I remember when I first started I was kind of anal about not getting behind and always just having last week to do. As I got more comfortable I actually found it easier to work with two weeks at once.

The one benefit of the children having the chicken pox in the school holidays was that we were home... the entire time... all day every day. So I did get a bit of time to work on it and a wonderful blessing of PL is that you can work a little on this pocket and that pocket, you don't lose your mojo if you leave in the middle of it, like you sometimes do with a 12 x 12. You can do a little bit and make a sandwich for child A, do a bit and find that DVD for child B, finish a bit before you read the library books with child C.

Anyways, the good news is I am caught up! I am relieved as PL is not something I want to feel stressed about. I am just sharing a random week here, I am not going to go all the way back.

Project Life...

I'm having a little bit of a life pile on right now so things have been a bit hectic and I have been wanting so bad to update my project life posts, so here goes, it might be short and sweet.

The most mucked up few weeks ever...

Oh my goodness, it seems like the universe is conspiring against my PL.
I have been three, yes three times to get my photo's printed and each time there was a problem.
Who knew getting the actual photos was going to be so stressful.

The week I am sharing this week is not in the correct order, the week inbetween is still missing  a couple of photos, see above conspiracy.

I'm trying out something new this week and sharing photos of each pocket individually. A couple of friends and family members have mentioned they couldn't see enough detail so I am trying it out. It does make for a crazy long post but let me know what you think.

I am hoping to play catch up this week and get that odd week that is taunting me done so I can get back to my happy place with my PL. I have started making my Christmas presents so I really do need to keep  my momentum up. Happy crafting.

Project life!

Hey Project Lifers!

This has been the first week in ages that I have used a filler card, I can't have been very snap happy this week. We had plenty going on but I summed it up fairly easily. My favourite is the little stories simply because the little, quirky, man my kids are weird stories are my favourite things. The things that make them individuals. They are the best bits to read back on later too.

Project Life this week...

Hi All...

Hope you are having a fabulous day, it's a little miserable and rainy here today but we are all snuggly warm inside... that is until I have to go pick the other children up! At least we get to come home and warm up with a Milo.

It's Wednesday...

Wow I haven't been here for an entire week and it sure feels like it. I've been crafting away but the layouts are for scheduled things I can't share yet so I haven't had a lot to post.

Coming up this week, on the 15th will be  my first contribution to the Challenge me happy blog. Woohoo! I'm excited about that, come on over and get involved.

I did a big catchup with my Project Life and I'm pleased to say I am back to being current (current to me is working on last weeks pages). I was about 3-4 weeks behind, I had made all the notes etc but I just told myself I wasn't allowed to do anything else until it was caught up. So I am happy.

PL Update

Morning morning Project Lifers, it's 11.16 am so technically still morning.

I completely lost a day being unwell yesterday and I was sitting here and gasped when I realised it was PL day and I hadn't done anything yet. Well I'd done my pages but had my Olympic pocket to finish off. I had purchased the Olympic rings cut from the Silhouette store which was great but I was attempting to do it way way way too small and I just couldn't get it to go together and look right. So instead of weeks ago giving up and moving on, in true Hayley style I just kept trying it every few days until now I seriously don't like the Olympics rings anymore.

Then I had a stamping disaster! But hey it is done!
